Vanamo Kide Nokkonen baby wrap contains 30 % linen, 30 % merino wool and 40 % GOTS certified organic cotton. Gorgeous mix of glowing green wool and mint green & grey linen! The back cotton warp deepens the colors and brings out the beautiful Kide pattern! The wrap is strong and supportive yet soft and comfortable. Suitable for heavy babies and toddlers. An illustrated instructions manual will be included (English).
The cotton-linen-wool blend combines all the good qualities of linen and wool. Linen gives strength and great support - wool makes the wrap soft & fluffy. Vanamo wrap is diagonally elastic and moldable. The special weaving gives optimum support for the baby as well as the parent. Linen and wool are breathable & thermoregulating materials. This wrap works great in hot and humid climates. And it feels equally comforting in the chilly autumn and winter days. Vanamo tri-blends are great wraps for heavy babies and toddlers. A new wrap can feel a little stiff at first but the fabric will soften up quite quickly when you start using it. Wash and iron with plenty of steam and the wrap will fluff up considerably.
Vanamo Kide fabric is a complex mixture of twill and tabby weaves which create the unique structured, porous and comfortable baby wrap. The rich crystal pattern was inspired by the old handwoven Finnish linen textiles. After the first washing the fabric will fluff up and the unique texture appears.

How to care for your Vanamo wrap: Machine wash in cold water (30 Celcius) with wool program or delicate's cycle, hang dry, ironing with low heat. Ironing while still a little damp or use steam. NO tumble-drying!
We recommend washing the baby wrap before you start using it. The wrap will become softer and easier to wrap with after washing & ironing, and the fabric will obtain it's optimum structure and density. Each baby wrap includes some extra length for shrinking.
